Island of the Yokai

Follow the path into the mist, thought the bamboo and past the cherry blossom tree. Cross the field of violets on to the garden of moss covered rocks. Over the pound fulled with lilies and lotuses. Under the ancient arch and up the temple of old where the spirit of new and old roam.

Did you follow the path? Did you find the temple of the Yokai? Did you find the city? A feudal looking city, but looks can deceiving it more modern then it looks. Past the city and on the out shirks there a river follow the upstream into the bamboo forest and to the lake deep in the forest. Find the waterfall at the far side of the lake. Take the path up the mountain and round to the caves and the underground labyrinth where over of the darker yokai dwell. Now follow the river downstream and find the small beach and the bay.

Yokai are sprites and ghost of those who pasted of human and animal alike. Along with the memory of lost toys. The memory of a favorite toy of child hood that been lost take new form as the sprites of the memories. If a living human happened to find the path they can't go back once there at the temple. The path only leads to the temple and the city.
